2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine - Based Britain

Remeber what the kremlin says! Arming pro russian separatist is ok even if they shoot down commercial plane with those weapons but arming the ukrainian force so they can defend themselves is co-belligerence!

I'd probably be very happy that I'd survived the Battle of Britain, since a lot of it happened over the area I grew up in due to it having one of the most important airfields in the South of England at the time.

My only real options during this period would be to either join the Navy at the height of the U-boat menace, being shipped off to Africa to fight the Italians or going to the utter fucking hell that was the Pacific/Burma campaign.

But I wouldn't know that at the time, so I'd probably be feeling tense but optimistic about things.
