She when from psychopathic manipulative abusive insane, and yet still tragic woman (original sun and moon) to a generic kinda well meaning extremist (ultra sun and moon) to a simply busy mother role (anime).

Talk about villain decay as they took one of their best villains and tried to make her… nicer.
