The show's been criticized by pretentious weebs for being too bland and not up to their required amount of autism, but K-ON is still a highly regarded series in the SOL genre. After all, the show is happy, cute, soft and fluffy that's easy to watch, and contain some generic Japanese pop songs every once in a while, not to mention the light humor that's cute enough to not be completely cringy.
