yeah its to late for a siwtch pro, better to make a new console altogether and give it switch backwards combability.

Given it's been over 5 years now, I think it's more likely that instead of a "Pro" model Nintendo might just move onto a successor console. One of my hopes with said successor is I hope that it can enhance previous generation Switch games with things like an FPS boost similar to what the Xbox Series X can do with select 360 and Xbox One games.
