What I don't really understand (from an outsider's perspective) is why it's a visual novel first and a tactical RPG second. The latter would be right up a lot of Digimon fans' alleys, so it seems like a weird choice to take these cool creatures with cool powers and then make the majority of the game static images and text. And are people who like visual novels going to want to suddenly sit up and play a video game for a bit? I dunno.
You know… If I had a nickel for every time a game that was marketed as something that takes up a minor part of the game and it's more of something that it wasn't advertised as. I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
