The CSTO is basically Russian NATO and it's currently going through an interesting period.

Armenia has been attacked by Azerbaijan for the umpteenth time and has triggered their version of Article 5; which Russia has promptly ignored.

Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have declared war upon each other, because why not?

Kazakhstan is looking to bail after realising that membership isn't worth the hassle.

Which leaves Russia crying in the corner with Belarus trying their best to comfort them.
