They've suddenly started framing the war as being a fight against Satanism. It's mainly for the relatively large number of conscripts from Muslim communities so that they'll actually fight instead of just killing the first relatively high-ranking officer they see in a suicide attack (which actually happened last week, dumbass Russian officer told some Muslims that Allah is a coward so they shot him and a bunch of other non-Muslim soldiers that were there). But it's vague enough that it's also meant to get the Christian soldiers on board.
