The idea is the floor is moving very slowly 24/7, the victim would have to walk constantly to avoid being scraped. Eventually, they would tire and pass out, but the conveyor would pin them against the wall and start scraping their flesh. This would wake them up and keep them in agony until they bleed out days later or something.
