DOS r/books u/Banzo41 56m ● Join Stephen King I recently watched this Stephen king interview where he said "I write 6 pages a day, that's about 2 months of writing a 300 page book" and that is how he releases 3 books in 6 months. I'm sorry but that just makes it sound like horrible writing. How can you 3 book ideas in 6 months? All of which are unique and layered and meaningful. This just says to me that if he can polish 6 pages in a day, and have 3 'original plots', then it might not be that good. Can anyone who reads Stephen King's new books inform of their opinion on his writing? From what I know, just pumps out horror novels non-stop. This post doesn't really apply to the green mile and his older work, as I'm not sure of the timeframes he wrote them and seeing as they were very successful, probably aren't as similar as his new ones which I haven't seen gain as much support. ↑ Vote ↑ Share Posted in r/stephenking 5 reddit
