This meme lampoons the decision of the Uruguayan Football Association to include four stars in their own football crest, not only in reference to the 1930 and 1950 World Cups, but also including as world championships in the 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics, which are not World Cups. The main argument by Uruguay (supported by FIFA) is that the 1924 Summer Olympics was the first worldwide football tournaments that accepted professional players (for the record, FIFA has organised the football championships in the Summer Olympics since 1908). Still, a lot of people think that this is scraping the bottom of the barrel. More info. Uruguay is also suffering a terrible drinking water drought.
