I know most of them are slide threads, but I'm creating this thread for the people who are genuinely asking about reddit and for the anons who keep saying that we should "troll" reddit. If you want to piss off reddit jannys and trannys, go ahead and do that, fine, but you are exposing yourself for more than just "s----- memes and propaganda", it's so much more than that. Everytime you link reddit, you risk an inexperienced anon to be exposed to manipulations they are not yet ready for. Now to the meme essay. Normies think that reddit is for discussions (a "forum site"), but in reality it's a slow indoctrination/programing for self censorship by you having to adopt the "reddit language etiquette" (otherwise your account gets unusable, witch means negative Karma or shadowbanning). If you think about it, no other forum or website has such an extreme system for similar goals, which makes it a good example to talk about how sites manipulate your thoughts. The reddit language can be summarized like this > Only use non provoking language / "don't be rude = don't call out people behind a problem, just talk about the symptoms. This mechanism is hidden in the TOS as hate speech or doxing. But it's only OK if reddit admins allow it (you know this by them "letting it'/manually putting it to the front page). If you use this language, you can't sound as extreme as the left can ("kill all nazis", "whites are terrorists", and are the worst etc). Your language has been dumbed down so it sounds ridiculous if you try to express yourself using this language if you were to say something non-left leaning. A leftist could use this language to sound convincing, meanwhile you (the right leaning one) would sound like doing mental gymtastics to find simple words.
