omeomi24 commented on post reddit NTA - except that was not 'your personal space' - you didn't own it. If a chair was empty she was not wrong to sit in that chair. They did not know you had previously ordered food - you seemed to be taking up a table to work on in a business meant to sell food/drink. They were not wrong to ASK you to give up the table but they were wrong to argue it when you said 'no'. I could tell you I had back surgery - but you wouldn't know if it was true or not...and it's not something a stranger should have to worry about. - 69 upvotes 9 replies
