MizzTaken 11/25/2023 My son (5) has been really into the gingerbread story and requested these for Thanksgiving. I added an extra, maybe 1/4 cup of brown sugar for him. It was delicious. The issue I had was that I couldn't cut the cookies, waaay too sticky to work with. I tried rolling it out on a pan, then just cutting it and baking (so I could remove edges later). That didn't work too well. For the third try, I cooked the whole dough flat, cooked longer (12 min) and waited for it to cool fully before using the cooking cutter on the already done cookies. This was the only method that worked. My son was so heartbroken because he thought we wouldn't be able to decorate them. It was a thanksgiving miracle that I was able to give him just 12 cookies to decorate. Helpful (0)
