Note that a Gen II Pokemin, Murkrow is featured as the Dark-type silhouette, while the rest are Gen I. Dark types didn't come into play 'till Gen II, and Magnemite was retyped from pure Electric into Steel/Electric when Steel was introduced. This means no Gen I Pokemon are Dark types.
