Well, ignoring that the "beauty or brains" idea is a dead stereotype, it is used on men as well. Much like how the "jock" is portrayed as a bumbling knuckle-dragger. So let's not pretend this isn't gender equal.
Not to mention, I've yet to see a man in office who shows off their washboard abs or has a bulls-eye painted on their crotch. Yet it's somehow bad to want a woman to dress equally as presentable?
Also, I like how, to this person, feminine beauty (or to be taken "seriously") equates to not covering her tits. It's one thing to look beautiful, it's another to look like you're about to start selling it on the street corner.

Sorry sweetie, that's just not how it works. I can't take someone seriously if they look like a damn prostitute. And if you're enough of a sorry sap to have to rely on your tits to get noticed, then I'm not sure you're worth listening to at all.
