I'm a senior in High School, and we still say the pledge every day. Since Elementary school.

Every once in a while I think about how it's sorta weird, and how it's exactly the sort of thing some evil dictator state would do, but then I remember that nobody takes it seriously. Most kids either mumble it, fuck with the lyrics, or just don't say it at all.

And just as a fun-fact for those of you who don't know the words, here they are:

I pledge allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America,
And to the Republic for which it stands.
One nation, under God, indivisible,
With liberty and justice for all.

I pledge allegiance, to the great nation of Arstotzka
For all its citizens, and for its sovereignty.
