The big, giant robot ripping apart BUILDING S doesn't scare him at all compared to losing what he loves ilove this move for so many reasons, but this scene one of the bigger ones. A hero mone where the males are alowed to be 0ton wmout appearing weak? A hero movie where lemaies are alowed lo be strong ithout being calous or woefuly 2D? And consider this scene earlier in the movie…

That's Mr. Incredible, literally 3 seconds and one flick of the wrist away from turning into a villain. The very first lines he speaks in the clip reek of villainy. Disney & Pixar just gave an archetype of how easy it is for the heroic to become the corrupted in a kids movie.
