I'll just put a stop to the inevitable WebMD visits right now: This is an exaggeration at best.
Restless Leg Syndrome is a neurological disorder that comes with a wide variety of symptoms and intensities, but one constant is that the urge to move or twitch is irresistible, and almost always accompanied by a pain or an itch in the affected area. If you can consciously stop moving your leg or other twitchy body part, what you have is almost certainly either not RLS or a completely harmless case of it.
Furthermore, while RLS can cause the afflicted to "sleep less and suffer from depression," what curlspray here is a worst-case scenario, similar to saying that "people who go outside tend to be struck by lightning." If you have RLS, it's likely that all you'll ever see of it is occasional twitching. In addition, the connection between RLS and depression is weak at best; typically, those with both depression and RLS were depressed first and developed RLS as a side effect of antidepressants.
