Yes, this is a <a href="https://www.targeta.co.uk/wheretogo.htm">true story</a> and the infographic misses out one small, but important bit of info. The house was being used as a "target" by the RAF, so the jet fighters would either go to as low as they could and skim pass the house in a "Boom and Zoom" manoeuvre, or fly directly at the house in a steep dive before pulling off.
