According to several psychological studies (so hypotheses, not scientific theories), it turns out that some of the more homophobic citizens have homosexual tendencies themselves, and they closet their sexualities due to various reasons, one being that their parents forcefully and physically tell them that homosexuality is wrong. In a way, they are more trapped than some of the other homosexual parties out there.

Why would he even apply for a job like that if he was so anti-gay?
Heck, why would he campaign for the Republican party if he knew that he had this in his background?
This whole thing seems like poor planning all around.
