….and i'm back.

You probably don't recognize this character. Neither did i. This is the final boss from the Japanese Final Fantasy III -- not the one with Terra and Kefka, but the one that was never brought over to the western world.

Apparently, the main villain is a wicked mage named Zande, but when you defeat him at the end, this mysterious evil entity called "Cloud of Darkness" appears from nowhere to reveal that she was pulling his strings the entire time.

This means…. that Ultimecia wasn't the first female main villain of a Final Fantasy game, she was. And that's cool.
