Somebody Get These Beggars Out Of Here, also known simply as the Get These Beggars Out Of Here Meme, is a quote from the character Antinous, played by actor Robert Pattinson, in Christopher Nolan's 2026 epic fantasy movie The Odyssey, which appeared online shortly after the film's release in mid-July 2026.

The scene is typically used online as a simple catchphrase and reaction meme to mock someone for being poor or begging for something, with the GIF or reaction image of Pattinson from the movie also being used as an exploitable in which creators add different visual elements to him.

Origin

In the original scene from The Odyssey where the meme comes from, Antinous (Robert Pattinson) is the leader of the suitors who occupy Odysseus' home during his prolonged absence. Believing Odysseus to be dead, the suitors consume his household's wealth, plot to kill his son Telemachus and compete for the hand of his wife, Penelope.

When Odysseus finally returns, he disguises himself as a beggar to assess his household and witnesses the conduct of the suitors occupying his home. At one point during their interaction, Antinous responds with contempt, berating the disguised king and violating the code of hospitality, saying, "Somebody get these beggars out of here!"

The earliest references to Robert Pattinson's line and his delivery of it began appearing online the same day as the movie's release, with the clip and GIF appearing shortly after.

On July 17th, 2026, X / Twitter^[1] user kiki_soccer70 posted the earliest known reference to the specific quote alongside a GIF of actor Jim Carrey giving a thumbs up, though it received little engagement.
