If gamers aren't going to be your audience for a gaming article site, then what other demographic is? It goes doubly so when your articles are on the web, the place where the "childish internet arguers" roost. Like it or not, gamers on the internet is your only audience and if you can't tailor your site to their needs, you might as well declare yourself out of business there and then.
