It's an attempt to caricature gamergate by the antis. It's pretty much the equivalent of the gamergaters saying that the anti's only argument is "MISOGYNY!". The same way the accusations of mysogyny from the anti are seen as an absurd red herring only deserving mockery by GG, the accusation of corruption are perceived the same way by the antis.
