Yeah, typically the ones trying to be offensive as its selling point fail. Family Guy got away with it for a while, but now it's gone to shit. I think South Park's one of the only ones that can still be considered good that does it.

Most other adult animation that you could consider good really isn't what I'd call "offensive", but it still has satire and parody.
