Notes:

I don’t know what the record number for entrants in a Melee tournament was before, but whatever it was, it’s now been broken. On top of that, Melee has finally broken the 1K mark for a tournament. I’m not certain if any other Fighting game in history has done this (though I can’t say it hasn’t as a result).
