I's say that saying that "a sexy character is a step back" is a step back in its self. Remember when feminism was about celebrating female sexuality instead of suppressing it?

I remember a time where when women said "no you don't represent us" it was a clear sign that one's cause was not empowering women. A time where representing minorities meant actually listening to them.

Gosh it feels just like yesterday.
