I wonder why interviewers/employers expect people to not be nervous.

OF COURSE I'M NERVOUS
IF I DON'T GET A JOB IN A MONTH I'M OUT OF INTERNET
IF I DON'T GET A JOB IN TWO MONTHS I'M OUT OF GOOD CLOTHES TO MAKE INTERVIEWS WITH
IF I DON'T GET A JOB IN THREE MONTHS I'M GOING TO LIVE IN A BOX

Sometimes you muster the ability to look confident and, even if you don't get the job, you're gonna congratulate yourself on your improvement. Then the interviewer is one of those who can read minds and are basically telling you "your game's up. You are brave and confident, but that's not your true self. Deep down you are nervous." REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I don't get why being an introvert is frowned upon (damn, entirely avoidable things like tattoos and piercings aren't stopping people from getting jobs I applied for). It's not like someone can change what they are. Even if being an extrovert is a bad thing at the actual job you're getting, the interviewer is usually shooting you down for being a loner introvert. Twice.

For a few jobs, being a loner introvert is a massive advantage for whoever cares about the actual job getting done (IT Tech guy who must be available 24/7 for drive-in emergencies? "This really social guy who recently fathered twins sounds like a no-brainer for this post!")
