People absolutely hated Samus in Other M because she was a super fucking weak character, something that she's not. Maybe you're right that we could get a game where we could know her better and have a better personality, but making her that weak just destroys the whole purpose of Samus being a badass female character.

Plus, most MALE protagonists in game do not care about killing either, what's the problem with Samus doing the same like she always has? Fucking nothing. I just hate when people defend Other M Samus because that's not our Samus, that's not our badass bounty hunter, that's just a stupid clone that shouldn't exist in the first place.

Samus does appear in the game, just not in playable form.
