There seems to be a shortage of waifu in the new Fire Emblem If. Unlike in Awakening, the children units are determined by their father. All the mother does is give them a hair color. The only exception is Azura, who has her own son, just like Chrom These are all the fathers that can give you a children unit. Anybody not mentioned here is sterile, or just FeMuisexual. That's 19 fathers. Now let's take a look at the female units. Again, anybody not mentioned here is either exclusively MaMuisexual or has met with a terrible fate That's 19 mothers. Again, 19 That means there is the exadt same number of first generation fertile males and females. At first it seems like a perfect combination, that's until someone takes in account Kamui. That's right, if Kamui wants to marry any of the female units above, he will leave one of the fathers without a waifu, thus leaving you without a children unit. This is a problem that happens in every route, no matter if you pick Nohr, Hoshido, or neither. It should be noted that FeMui does not have this problem, she actually helps a lot because she can marry anybody she wants, while on top of having a pretty strict selection of women, most of the male units can't marry all of the female units above. The most obvious example is the siblings Still, you can't leave MaMui alone if you want all the units in the game, or you will miss on your own daughter Kanna. So, if you want to play as a male, what can you do to solve this? The most obvious answer would simply be to marry one of the children units yourself. It would likely give you a more powerful Kanna, and there is quite a few girls you can pick from. But maybe you are one of those people who feels it's weird to marry the children of your own friends or something on those lines. In that case, all that is left for you are the Kamuisexuals: Yup, that's it, only four of them. And as if it wasn't enough, depending on the route you pick they might cut themselves orn their own edge, not be able to fly so good, start a BBQ party without you or require a monetary compensation before joining you. If those options still don't ask Zero for some advice. EDIT: Lol jk Zero can't give you any kids at all. You actually permanently miss out on two* kids if you choose to go h--- for him. #LoveLoses #MammaMia
