I'm originally from Doncaster but now live in London. Back when I lived in Doncaster, my then-wife and I would frequently see this man around our area. She was the first to spot him and came home saying he looked terrifying. I thought she was being a bit dramatic at first, but to keep her safe, I agreed to start walking with her. After a couple of weeks, I saw him myself and realized she wasn't exaggerating. He had on a lot of makeup, bright red overlined lips, and what seemed like fake teeth. The uniform he wore was darker and less fitted than it is now, and he carried a small black briefcase. At the time, I wondered if he might have been a burn victim or something similar. Whenever we saw him, he was hard to miss with all that makeup and the briefcase. I decided to try and have a chat with him, mainly to ask about the uniform (didn't want to come off as rude by mentioning the makeup). But when I spoke to him, he didn't make eye contact and kept looking up or down, which made me think he might have some mental health issues. When I asked about the uniform, he mentioned it was job-related or something like that (it's been years, so I can't remember the exact words). I introduced myself, but he never told me his name, so I can't confirm if he's really David Alter as some people suggest. His voice was also different from what you hear in his videos more low-pitched and not as high. I kept seeing him whenever I was out with my ex-wife until we moved away. I'm sharing this now because my ex sent me a video about him from YouTube and it brought back those unsettling memories. Ask questions if you guys would like and I'd try to answer as best as possible with all the information I have.

As usual, most of the staff were taking their breaks early "to see the show" (security guards falling apart with laughter) , & we heard the elderly female cashier ask it (whilst blatantly struggling to keep a straight face!) "Do you have a Clubcard?". It replied, VERY seriously....... Of course not, I'm only thirteen". I found out from another Tesco's employee that "it" gives the same reply to that question, every time. The guy is about 30 years old & over 6feet tall (platform shoes included) !............& apparantly a locally well-known "rent-boy". The other comical thing is that "it" appears to have VERY tight rubber bands around it's clothes....making it look a bit like a trussed-up turkey. WIERD !!! In short...... it's like... Monty Python meets Quentin Crisp meets Just William meets (a very poor attempt at) the Black'n'white minstrel show

Have you ever heard of a "David Walter alter"? Also known as the "clown monkey man" by some? He dressed up as a schoolboy, painted his face, and would walk around town centre blowing raspberries and making strange noises at people. He would also follow children around in the area. 12:02 PM Yeah I think I remember him walking around town in the late 90s or early 2000s when I was at Hall Cross school. He never approached me though. Is that all the details you remember? Thank you for responding. If we are talking about the same person he was a dark skinned guy who would wear really sloppily applied make up. Like just a bunch of white and red makeup/ facepaint. Like it was just smeared across his face. I remember him wearing a white shirt and a school tie and had a strange posture, or walked quite leaned forwards. He was quite tall and walked very fast. He seemed startled, looking all around quite paranoid. Probably walked past me a couple of times near Hall Cross school at that end of town. That's all I remember. I'd say 1999-2001. At the time there was a rumour that the nearby mental hospital closed down and they released everyone onto the streets because he was just one of many crazy people on the streets of Doncaster.
