Yeah, the fact that they were animatics rather than full animation should've tipped us off that this wasn't going to be a Cartoon Network series. (Yet, at least.)

As much as I love C:KND, it's not the cash cow that Ben 10 is/was, so CN picking up a sequel series based on petitions and fan nostalgia alone is rather slim. The hype the crew managed to generate from this is promising, though, and the premise of the teaser might make for a very strong series.

I'm mostly looking forward to the increase in fanart and fanfiction after this, personally. _
