Grats to the lad. The amount of frame-perfect inputs required for this is utterly insane. Then again, I'm convinced that most speedrunners are nuts to begin with.

It's nuts in of itself how much Super Mario Bros on NES has been dissected. Even down to how the frame data for the game works, including "half-frames," which is just crazy!

"The most clutch gamer alive." It was supposed to be a joke but somehow this happened- the first 4:55 in Super Mario Bros. and probably the last second-barrier that will ever be broken in this game. When I say "My FIRST run" in this video, I mean my first run ever to get past 1-2 on that pace.
