Why the fuck does Hollywood not understand that these over the top ugly CGI set pieces are just stupid, boring and not as good as simple action moments made 3 decades ago and half the budget

Seriously they are jumping on air planes shooting missiles and doing impossible karate shit. "BIGGER THE BETTER AM I RIGHT?!" T2 had really simple action set pieces that only used CG when 100% necessary and its still one of the best movies ever made

God even the new Predator with this shit. We gotta fight a Predator but this time its a SUPER predator and we gotta fight him on a big moving space ship! Meanwhile the original was just a bunch of muscular dudes in a Forrest slowly getting picked off until it gets killed by simple little traps and tricks, and its 100 times better.
