It was kind of a meme for Shantae and Shovel Knight to fight over who'll get the ballot, though it was the extremities that wanted to actually fight like this. As for why Beck was there? I didn't think about Hollow Knight, and considering how they were their own power triangle on the Kickstarter scene, it makes sense they would rather leave him alone. I hope to eventually learn Masking in Vegas, so I can just make the radio/Beck appear over Shantae's face more naturally, and generally make this look more natural.
