Cuphead and Mugman Fighting, also known as No Fighting, refers to parodies of a scene in the upcoming television series, The Cuphead Show! that depicts Cuphead engaging in a cloudy brawl with Mugman after Elder Kettle tells them not to touch his radio and not to fight. In the parodies, Cuphead and Mugman are depicted as figures or companies, with the radio often being replaced by a third party that neither one wants to mess with.

Origin

On January 18th, 2022, a teaser of The Cuphead Show! was released onto YouTube by Netflix, which featured the scene at the beginning of the trailer (seen below). In the scene, it shows Cuphead and Mugman being told two rules by Elder Kettle, to not touch his radio and no fighting. After he leaves, Cuphead and Mugman end up in a brawl and fight before stopping as they reach the radio where they gently move past it before continuing to fight.

Spread

After the release of the trailer, users on the internet started creating video parodies of the scene by adding text, images and logos over the characters in reference to pop culture. For example, on January 26th, 2022, YouTuber Obanium926 posted an example featuring Family Guy characters, gaining over 526,000 views in one week (shown below, left). The same day, they posted an edit featuring The Rock and The Wock, gaining over 250,000 views in a similar timeframe (shown below, right).

Other edits include a post by Kung Fu Lama Su featuring the Martha Was An Average Dog meme that gained over 20,000 views (shown below, left) and an edit by Jadon264 depicting Mugman and Cuphead as Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, gaining over 517,000 views (shown below, right).
