After legalising gay marriage, brazil announces its "hetero pride day".
What are your thoughts on this? Personally, I see pride marches as for segregated or in some ways shunned groups, not for the majority of the population.

Equality man.
Now all the other countries are going to fight even harder against itā¦
I'm gonna show my pride by staying home and doing internets.
yea man heteros have been oppressed for far too long
I'm amazed. I mean quite frankly that's something you never expect. But oh well. Brazils choice on what days they want to celebrate whatever.
Pride days/marches/whatever are all the same to me. I look at gay pride the same way I do white pride, or hair pride, or inverted belly button pride. Its just stupid. I am not proud of my race, sexuality, or physical qualities. I didn't work for these things, they were given to me before I was even born.
But that's just me. I really don't care if people are proud of their genetics, and I'm not going to stop some blue eyed person from celebrating with other people about their iris colour. That's their deal.

I wonder how many gay's will be shunning this.

Let's have a "I am not proud of my race, sexuality, or physical qualities" pride day!

A shame day parade? Hmm, that could be viable. I wonder if it would need a specific theme, or just anyone with something to be ashamed of can show up.
^Shame proud day parade? Wait wha?
This reminds me of Privilege denying dudeā¦.
