Moral of the story: Do not piss off the internet.

Thank god. Godaddy is terrible, not just for supporting SOPA, but for using bots to detect when people mention an available web name, and then taking it first. Good riddance.

Not to surprising giving that they support that awful, awful bill.

They are a terrible domain site anyway. I never really like it when something/someone goes out of business but I don't think I would care very much if they did.

So I just actually read that article, and they still have several more domains. Sadly, that's not going to hurt them.

Apparently, they get 40,00 domains registered each day. There isn't anything to celebrate.
