Just post cringe comedy. Bonus points if it's unintentional cringe comedy.

I showed IRC this yesterday, but I figured the rest of you would be interested in this too.

Just browse around and see how long you can last before you kill yourself.
To sum it up:
"My lord, it's like if all the most diehard r4nd0mz scene kids of 2005 who like wafflez and to R4WR!!1! came together on site and tried to out do each other."
It's horrible.

I was scrolling through the boys, and God; I thought taking pictures of yourself in the bathroom without a shirt was a trend that died with MySpace. I won't even dare to go near the girls.

Nevertheless, I still know a worse site than yours, OP. I see your punk Instagram that has not evolved from 2005, and I raise you 9 year olds from 4Kids who think Sonic X and other crappily dubbed shows make them anime nerds!

Me observing the threads from a distance:

Some of these people got worse spelling and grammar then me, and that is saying a lot.
A troll can go in there any minute and go grammar nazi on them.

Encyclopedia Dramatica is your daily dose of cringe.

^ Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with that. I am aware that it is satire, but due to my inability to take a joke and my general oversensitiveness, it still rustles me very, very easily. I'd rather not go to a website that features articles insulting people and things that I like and enjoy. Also, I've always had an issue with racism, homophobia and misogynistic behavior, and although I've tried really hard to laugh at ED articles in the past, knowing what their intention is, I just can't. I feel bad when I do attempt to.

What makes me cringe?

(I'm preparing for downvotes on this one for the sole reason that people disagree with my opinion, and therefore that must make me an idiot.)

I can tolerate most of the stuff on ED, but their Offended page is really awful.

I think it's funny how people could come on to KYM and very easily do the same thing to us.

"There's a thread (six, and five threads with 200 pages) where people had several massive posts about fapping to My Little Pony characters?"

"How much time do they spend making articles about funny stuff on the Internet? And for what? The title of 'moderator?'"

"Wait, wait, wait. What's a furry again? And how many of them are on the website?"

"Isn't it weird how people who are in their twenties and thirties are hanging out with people who are in their teens? If not creepy?"

And then we turn around and pick at other people who will very likely grow out of that scene/emo phase while we're still watching anime or playing some MMORPGs. I say this with some experience behind me:

The emo/scene kids in my high school have their steady jobs, their nice degrees from decent colleges, have decent social support networks in addition to professional networks. They grew out of it, like many of these kids will. These were people just going along with the trend at the time. They found out that it didn't suit them when they got older, they changed their clothes, got haircuts, and became mainstream adults.

The anime/MMORPG or online gamer kids are generally broke adults, may or may not have degrees of any sort, and tend to make their way through customer service positions at Wal-Mart and the like. They did not become the engineers or scientists that I would have expected. They chose (or were socially directed) into a subcultural area of adolescent interaction due to various factors, but they never came (or were able to come) out of it.

I'm not saying that any of these are inherently bad. But if I had to choose what I would have liked as a 24-year old objectively, then I'll take odd tastes in music, clothes, and poetry that I'll grow out of over odd tastes in music and liking the same cartoons and games that people half my age play and various other weird tendencies that is a part of Web Culture.

Or more simply, I look at myself, and I don't have any room to pick at anyone else.

Just sayin'. There are implied massive planks in our eyes here, and we're getting jollies from specks from other people's eyes (that will go away in time.)

Oh, well. BACK TO THE NEARLY HYPOCRITICAL INSULTS HM?

On topic, because I call out Know Your Meme. For the same reasons. And before you say "Then why are you here? If it's so bad, then why don't you just leave?"

That's because I like it here. Just like those scene kids and to be Sonic fanboys/girls like what they do.

…I don't know what that is meant to be,wsxdas, therefore I cannot possibly react.

@BalisticDerr
>Sonic X
…Alright, I'll admit I used to be somewhat a fan of that. To be fair, it IS Sonic related, and I am a lifelong fan of the Sonic games (Enjoyed to some extent every one I've played. As to how that's possible, I simply dodged the 2 bullets fired in '06. (That disastrous port and THAT GAME.)

I've since come to my senses and simply don't watch it anymore.

I cringe every time people use something like awesome face because every time I see someone use I feel the need to strangle them. It was funny when I was 12 and the first time I saw it but is it funny now? No. I also whenever I hear someone say YOLO. You have one life spend it wisely rather than doing something stupid that'll get you killed.

Youtube's Community.

It makes me more angrier and frustrated than cringing. I mean, is it me? Or has there been more screaming children and unfunny LPers out there now?

I'm going to go suggest to some of these "anime nerds" that they try out Elfen Lied, Mushi-shi, and Witchblade.

Dude…

What's making me cringe is fake people.

Hard to come by some one who puts their chest out to someone.

Also…

When I see someone walking with their head down!
Why?

pro tip when you are on the street, keep your head up.

I know that feel.
Brain:

>Look at that beautiful cliff-side view. You should drive off it to feel the experience more in person.
>Oh, you're being the Teacher's Assistant for your PE teacher this year? Go piss off your teacher whenever you want. (And that's how I got a B in TA, just for not listening to instructions.)

I think there's something wrong with me.

I can't stand when memes (forced and not) go pop culture. Pieces of me die daily when people say "le" this and "le" that, thinking they're all cool. I think what I hate the most is Slenderman. That he was, and is, legitimately awesome. But then it went pop culture, and all I hear is discussion on his "Powers" and "Where he came from" and "How he is real", and being the social recluse I am, I can never go in and explain to all of them what Pig-Tit Ass-Hats they are, and explain Slendy to them.

Don't even get me started on Gangnam Style.
