Should we have a "Webcomics" parent article?

I personally think that webcomics, especially in more recent years, have grown to hold a large audience, as well as having an impact on internet culture as we know it. We also seem to have a lot of memes on this site that come from webcomics, so I’m wondering if it’s not necessary to at least make mention of them.

If it gets made, could it possibly include a mention of The Adventures of Dr. McNinja?
