not really just on kym

The problem with the existing entry is that it focused only on how +1 has been used on KYM. But +1 has existed long before our site. It's a meme, but the meme entry should begin with the mechanics of table-top RPGs, then video game RPGs, then game design as integrated into website user experience.

I also don't think this is just used here on KYM. While i was doing my File Pile entry I found a forum from 2006 where a guy claimed that it was created by the File Pile creators in Bangkok (don't ask why) as a joke. I don't think it's true (no way!) but it's definitely not just confined to KYM.
I also think if you're gonna enter +1 you better put [this is good] in too.

I've seen and used +1 internetz long before I came across know your meme but it was never very popular so I don't think it ever really became memetic.
