Anyone got any details on it? An origin for the phrase?

Clarinet boy has been seen as early as December 2009, any earlier finds than that?

I'm not sure it's big enough yet to be a meme. There have been many examples though, like Tax Master. I think the point is to show someone sad, like they aren't content with what they became.
