I play most gaem with the normal sound on. Unless it's like Pokémon or something. If I ever play games without the original music, I don't have specific music. I mean, it's not a workout or something.

Same as Spider-byte. I just listen to the soundtrack the game already has, since most games I play have great soundtracks. For those games with not so great soundtracks or if I just feel like mixing it up, I sometimes mute the game and play soundtracks from other games over it to see what fits. Some of the results are damn funny.

Depends on the game.

Games that have music that really compliment the mood and feel of the game, I'll leave the game music on.

Games where I want to be immersed, or go for realism, or just really concentrate, I turn the music off.

For fast paced action games or PvP I often crank out my own collection of techstep, darkstep, trance or neuro.
