Technical noob, reporting for duty. I use tinypic.com for my image hosting in order to get pictures posted, but this can get tedious to use EVERY time I want to post a picture. So I was wondering if there was a faster/easier/better method of doing this. I've got a very rudimentary understanding of HTML, so there's no problem in giving me a shortcut there. Would img src work, and if so could anyone walk me through that? :S It's been about a year and a half since my web design class lol. Appreciate the help.

You should be cool and use imgur!
img src works, yes, but you can also use exclamation marks to post images, like so:
becomes
much faster, no?
RandomMan's thread on textile may help you as well.
Yeah, check out Random's textile thread if you want help.
I'd say avoid img src type stuff as much as possible in the forums, as it's a ton of work that really isn't necessary.
As Patrick said, just use exclamation marks before and after the image url.

I just right click a picture, copy it's URL, paste it in the comments, and add exclamation points. But more often than not, I'll upload the pic I want to this here very site. It contributes to the community, and to myself.
Got it, thanks! :P
So I'll probably use Imgur from now on, then.
And now to contribute to the Internet!
I also appreciate the help, I'm glad that KYM is a largely troll-free atmosphere.
Something tells me I'm gonna have fun with this. >:D
Awesome.
