On my profile, it says I've received +4 and given +1. How are these numbers counted? I've given and received way more thumbs than this.

Karma is exclusive to the forums, those digits don't count up- and downvotes in the comments.

There's a karma whore award at the end of the year every December awarded by the staff members who have ceased to exist since Amanda left.

"…ceased to exist since Amanda left."

Idk, I'm pretty sure they were gone before then. Amanda was the only one I've seen since I've come back. Guessing a bot is updating the front page/social media accounts. lol. All hail our robot overlords!
