These are the two most popular hot sauces in the country. Both are are very similar, but are different

Tabasco

  • Been around since 1868
  • Made from aged Tabasco Peppers
  • Contains only 3 ingredients: Peppers, Vinegar, and Salt
  • Takes 3 years to age peppers
  • Contains 5 varieties of products

Frank's Red Hot

  • Been around since 1920
  • Made from aged Cayanne Peppers
  • Contains same ingredients as Tabasco plus water and garlic powder
  • Primary sauce used for Hot Wings, including Dominos' wings
  • 11 Varieties of products

So in your opinion, which is the best of the two?

I would go with whoever has the best radio commercials.

"Franks Red Hot, that **** goes on everything!"

Yeah but actually based on taste, I'd definitely go Tabasco.

I'm afraid I've never tried Frank's Red Hot, but my general opinion on hot sauces is that it's not so much that one is "better" than another, but that they all go well in different contexts. My favorite tends to be Tapatío, since I don't like my hot sauce vinegary.
