Fuck Yea is a series of four-pane cartoon strips featuring a stick figure looking rather self-complacent and quite frankly, for all the right reasons. Originally posted via /b/ board on February 11, 2010, these cartoons illustrate all sorts of triumphant moments in our daily lives that make us feel awesome, like when you wake up a few seconds before the morning alarm goes off. This phenomenon can be also seen as the antithesis to Rageguy comics, another four-pane series originating from 4chan circa late 2008.

All “fuck yeah” is is flipping a Rageguy comic from a negative scenario to a positive (and usually dull) scenario. This needs to stop; it degrades Rageguy. If the comic were created in an original way, that would be acceptable. But it is not. It is Rageguy multiplied by negative one. Unoriginal and just plain stupid. “Fuck yeah” is just a boring, knock-off comic strip- not a meme.

Not to mention that there is nothing particularly “fuck yeah” about the drawing itself. The “artist” responsible could have done much better to emote the “fuck yeah” in the character. It looks more like some shifty-eyed guy who is waiting for the right moment to steal something.

Forget deadpooling: though that would be nice, there’s no way to get this garbage off the internet at this point. Just stick with “‘fuck yeah’ is not a meme!” Or just avoid speaking of it in general and hope that it dies on its own.
