Magikarp

Magikarp is the Fish Pokemon, currently #23 in National Pokedex, Most trainers first encounter it when they are conned into buying one for 500 Pokedollars in Red Blue & Yellow, or 20 Pokedollars in Ruby Sapphire & Emerald by a salesman who claims it is very rare and valuable, however, it is actually very weak and worthless, only knowing the move Splash, which does absolutely nothing, even its Pokedex entries in every single game state that it is weak and pathetic. but those willing to put up with this useless blob of Tuna Salad until it hits Level 20 will be rewarded with it evolving into a Gyrados. But until then, Magikarp is the target of constant jokes by people all across the internet.
