In infinity wars it was not an underhanded trick, hell it was the focus of several movies what this was going to happen.

as for steven universe. it's not like they pulled a random name out of the hat and said " oh the paper says rose is pink diamond" there were hints everywhere and many speculated this was the truth. How it happened was interesting and unexpected. But calling it "underhanded trick"

and infinity wars level is just stupid.

At this point, I care less about the reveal itself and more what they'll do with it.

If it's just Sapphire getting pissy for an episode then I'll be miffed.
