The current incarnation of Santa Clause is tied to Coca Cola advertising, which later became used by a lot of retailers. There was a song I heard once that was called "Santa's laughter mocks the poor" which was sort of an expression of this corruption.
I may be missing something, but I thought the "render unto ceasar" quote was about paying taxes, and more generally, living in society l. You should still live in one [le joker face] but you shouldn't compromise your own values. There is also the whole you should give away your wealth to support the poor and it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle bit.
I dunno, I think that Jesus' "give unto Caesar what is Caesar's" puts him outside the anti-capitalism box. Meanwhile, Santa's elves are unpaid in most fiction they are portrayed in. Maybe you should switch their positions?
